We’ll meet you at the airport for a private transfer to your boutique hotel on Lagos Island.
That evening, we ease into the experience with Ilé welcome drinks — a soft gathering to connect with your fellow travellers, soak in the city’s energy, and set the tone for what’s to come.
You’ll have time to unpack, refresh, and start your journey from a place of calm, not rush.

Your midweek is all about immersion.
Together, we’ll explore Lagos beyond the surface — from a cultural visit to the John Randle Centre for Yorùbá Culture & History, to a hands-on Ilé-led workshop focused on identity, heritage, and personal storytelling.
You’ll have solo time to shop, rest, or explore — but when we regroup, the conversations flow easily.
As the sun sets, we guide you into curated nightlife experiences: think Lagos energy, handpicked locations, and zero stress. Two optional evenings out are designed for both fun and safety, so you can feel it all without needing to know the city inside-out.
Beach, Reflection & Return
We close with softness and celebration.
Our final full day takes us to the coast — a curated Lagos beach day where you can unwind, reflect, and be fully present. Group transport and access are covered, and the rhythm of the day is easy.
That evening, we gather for a gentle farewell meal or toast, a moment to reflect on what the week gave you — and what you’ll take with you when you return home.

Can I come solo?Absolutely. Many of our guests join solo — Ilé is designed for meaningful connection, so you’ll never feel alone (unless you want to be).

Are flights included?Flights are not included. However, we provide concierge support if you'd like help finding and booking the best option for your travel dates. Once you arrive in Lagos, our VIP airport concierge service meets you at the gate, assists with your luggage, and guides you swiftly through immigration — so you can land smoothly and start your experience stress-free.

Do I need a visa to travel to Nigeria?Most travellers will need a visa to enter Nigeria. We recommend applying for a tourist visa online in advance through Nigeria’s official eVisa platform. You can apply and find all necessary details here: https://immigration.gov.ng/visa-on-arrival If you're unsure about your eligibility or process, we’re happy to support — just reach out and our concierge team can walk you through it.

Is this trip just for Nigerians or people from West Africa?Not at all — Ilé welcomes everyone. Whether you have roots in Africa or are simply drawn to its rhythm, you're invited. The trip is designed for anyone seeking a deeper, more meaningful connection with culture, creativity, and self.

When does the trip begin and end?Arrivals are on August 5th, and departures on August 10th (or 11th if you're staying an extra night). We'll handle your Lagos airport pick up and drop-off.

What’s the payment plan?You’ll pay a £500 deposit to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due by July 15th, and can be paid in full or via flexible instalments through Klarna/Stripe.
